The Source engine, while still very capable and versatile, is beginning to show its age. However, Portal 2 introduced several new visual facets that kept the game looking fresh, and for an 8 year old engine I still remain constantly impressed with the visual quality of their games mostly due to the exceptional art styles. This screenshot is my favorite out of a selection I have taken due to the rather ominous quality of the lighting.
